Bowtech technique constitutes an holistic therapeutical method set. It is gentle, effective and completely safe.
Began to apply in Australia in the 50's by Tom Bowen's the inventor of Bowtech.
The technique consists of a series of gentle movements applied to the connective tissue, muscles, fascia and nerves.
The patient is lying on the treatment bed wearing light clothing. The movements are gentle and there are pauses of 2-3 minutes each giving the body time for self-treatment. It usually takes 5 to 10 days between sessions. The session lasts from 20 to 50 minutes. Many patients resolve their problem within 3-4 visits. In very severe cases, 6 to 8 sessions may be required. The majority of patients see results and improvement from the 1st treatment.
Bowtech should not be confused with other therapeutic methods such as massage, reflexology, Shiatsu, etc. as the approach is purely anatomical. No machines, preparations or intermediates (eg oils) are used.
Bowtech has no side effects, which means it applies to everyone, regardless of age or condition. Its action is beneficial to the whole body, as it is a holistic treatment.
